Tyler Perry, the director of the United States the writers sued over the 2012 movie plot

Prolific American writer sued director Tyler Perry (Tuesday) in federal court, accusing him of lifting his 2012 film, "good deeds" from her book's plot.

Donald Terry, who also wrote: under a pseudonym the TLO Red'ness, said Perry's movies in her 2007 "rotten apples good fruit."

In the the Philadelphia litigation, filed, Donald said, a copy of her book Perry before the beginning of the movie production company.

Donald is seeking $ 225,000 in initial damages and an injunction requiring the company to new credit for her book at the opening and closing credits. The lawsuit also requires the company to provide the accounting income of the movie.

The drama stars Perry as a wealthy businessman, who meets a struggling single mother, earning approximately $ 35 million at the box office after February.
